Being in the presence of a regulated adult is what wires our children to feel safe.
Safe to feel, safe to express their emotions healthily, safe to take risks and learn, safe to connect, rather than shut down or push away how they feel.
It starts with us! We have to embody this sense of safety and regulation within us, in order for our children to feel it, trust us, and in turn develop these skills for themselves.
The more you are able to widen your window of tolerance and release your own emotional energy up and out in healthy ways- the more you are able to hold, when your children bring you their BIG feelings and difficult experiences they WILL encounter throughout life.
One grounded parent can shift the entire emotional tone and dynamic of the whole family.

This is not another parenting course
This is a live, 8-week, experiential program. You won’t receive any scripts to memorise, or more work on your already-overflowing plate.
You won’t be held to unattainable standards of perfection.
This is a dedicated space where you come for 60 minutes a week to experience real nervous system regulation and learn tools you can use easily throughout your day and in the messy moments.
We’ll be using breathwork, movement, and other somatic techniques to re-wire your nervous system for true calm, allowing you the space to be the grounded, compassionate parent your kids need.

About Jade
Dr. Jade Redfern is a Clinical Psychologist and mum of three. Her work bridges science and real life, helping parents respond to their child’s big feelings without yelling, bribing, or shutting down emotions.
Even with years of professional training, Jade found that becoming a parent was deeply triggering. Parents today are under so much pressure to “get everything right” raising emotionally intelligent and resilient kids, while teaching skills we were never taught ourselves.
Jade gives parents those tools in a way that is down to earth, compassionate, and accessible.
Her approach blends attachment and neuroscience with practical therapeutic tools, nervous system regulation, and lived parenting experience. The focus is on growth, connection, and emotional resilience for the whole family, without slipping into permissive parenting or falling back on threats and punishments.
This is not about perfect parenting or being the “calm” parent all the time. It’s about becoming the grounded, sturdy parent you needed, and the parent your kids get to enjoy, even in the messy moments.
The Grounded Parent Pathway is an 8-week live, experiential journey to reset your nervous system so you can show up as the grounded, self-compassionate parent you want to be- even when your kids push every button.
This program will start on Tuesday, 7th October and completes on 2nd December, with a break the week of 28th October for half-term.
